      <description><![CDATA[<p><b><span>About the Museum:</span></b><span> The Oklahoma City Museum of Art is one of the leading arts institutions in the region. The Museum presents a dynamic range of exhibitions organized from prestigious museums and collections throughout the world. The Museum’s own diverse collection features highlights from North America, Europe, and Asia, with particular strengths in American art and postwar abstraction. The permanent collection also boasts one of the world’s largest public collections of Dale Chihuly glass, a major collection of photography by Brett Weston, and the definitive museum collection of works by the Washington Color painter Paul Reed. The Museum serves over 125,000 visitors annually from all fifty states and thirty foreign countries. </span></p> <p><b><span>What We’re Looking For: </span></b><span>The Major Gifts and Campaigns Manager is a key member of the Institutional Advancement and Development team, responsible for generating contributed income to support the Museum’s programs, operations, and strategic campaigns. This role manages and cultivates a portfolio of individual donors, leading solicitation efforts and developing strategies to grow and diversify giving. They play a central role in advancing capital and endowment campaigns, while also serving as co-liaison to the Moderns Board to support engagement and fundraising initiatives. Highly collaborative, this position supports broader Advancement efforts and contributes to the planning and execution of development events, ensuring a strong, coordinated approach to donor engagement and revenue growth.</span></p> <p><b><span>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></b></p> <ul><li><span>Manage and grow a portfolio of individual donors, leading cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts to achieve annual revenue goals.</span></li><li><span>Develop and implement strategies to expand and diversify the donor pipeline, identifying and qualifying new prospects.</span></li><li><span>Play a leadership role in capital and endowment campaigns, supporting strategy, prospect management, and gift solicitation.</span></li><li><span>Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, volunteers, and key stakeholders to deepen engagement and long-term support.</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with Development leadership to align major gift strategies with overall departmental and organizational goals.</span></li><li><span>Partner with colleagues across the Development team to support integrated fundraising efforts, including the annual fund, corporate sponsorships, and grants.</span></li><li><span>Support the planning and execution of development events, leveraging them as opportunities for donor cultivation and stewardship.</span></li><li><span>Prepare proposals, briefings, and donor communications to support solicitation and stewardship efforts.</span></li><li><span>Monitor progress toward fundraising goals and provide regular updates and reports on portfolio performance.</span></li><li><span>Represent the Museum in donor and community settings, delivering presentations on exhibitions, programs, and institutional priorities to support cultivation and fundraising efforts.</span></li><li><span>Serve as co-liaison to the Moderns Board, supporting member engagement, communications, and related meetings and events.</span></li><li><span>Supervise and support assigned team members, ensuring efficient workflows, strong performance, and alignment with departmental goals.</span></li><li><span>Perform other related duties as assigned.</span></li></ul> <p><b><span>REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES</span></b></p> <ul><li><span>Demonstrated success in soliciting and closing individual gifts and managing a donor portfolio.</span></li><li><span>Experience supporting or leading capital and/or endowment campaigns preferred.</span></li><li><span>Experience working with boards or volunteer groups, including committee or affinity groups</span></li><li><span>Proficiency in a Donor Database, such as Altru, and Microsoft Office Suite.&nbsp; </span></li><li><span>Ability to think strategically about donor pipeline development and portfolio growth</span></li><li><span>Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously</span></li><li><span>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</span></li></ul> <p><b><span>EDUCATION</span></b></p> <ul><li><span>Minimum of three years of related successful experience in non-profit fundraising.</span></li></ul> <p> </p> <ul><li><span>Bachelor’s degree required.</span></li></ul> <p> <br></p> ]]></description>
